A documentary about a German-Italian dance company that develops the performance "The day I became a cloud" about analogue movements in the age of digital transformation, embedded in a cinematic essay about the dissolution of our physical world. The film presents the work of choreographer Emanuele Soavi and shows his studies and the development of his performance, which begins in France and Germany and ends in Italy. Emanuele Soavi's work is placed in a cinematic dialog with the issues of digital challenges in modern society.

words from the filmmaker

After a successful career directing mainstream films for 30 years, I turned to my roots and took the chance to make this self-produced experimental documentary about art and digital alienation. I like the idea that the choreographer Emanuele Soavi uses human bodies in his dance performances to resist the physical dissolution of our human existence in the age of AI, and my goal was to transform this performance into a cinematic journey.
