What goes on inside our heads? All those people we meet in our lives, what are they thinking? How do they see themselves? What thoughts are they thinking? “MIHI”, from the Latin “me”, is a concept that encompasses several artistic projects, all centered on the inner self. On who we are, or who we think we are.

I wanted to highlight the importance of introspection in my life, and how it continues to shape me. Introspection is the process of looking inward, reflecting on our thoughts, emotions, and experiences in order to better understand ourselves.
It has been a powerful tool for my personal growth, helping me navigate challenges and discover new layers of my identity. By sharing this work with the world, I hope to remind everyone of the value of taking time to listen to themselves and to learn from everything they can uncover within.
Dance, beyond words, offers a unique way to express what words sometimes cannot capture. It provides a physical language through which we can explore and communicate our innermost thoughts and feelings, deepening the journey of self-discovery and fostering a connection between mind, body, and soul.
For the project “MIHI: At the center our gaze,” I worked alongside two magnificent performers for whom the idea of creating an inner journey in their bodies made sense. Together, we conceived this first project in which I take you on a journey into my world, my interpretation of introspection.
