I was inspired by the idea of "what if?"
What if Bonnie Parker chose a different path. She was smart and edgy and ahead of her time when she met Clyde... attracted to the criminal life. She did what she had to to raise her status at a time where women didn't have much agency. I think I've always been fascinated by historical female figures who "rode with the boys" and forged a path of their own.
